Tutorial and Difficulty Patch
# Tutorial and Difficulty Patch
A new update for Rent Is Due is now live.
The first few minutes of the game should now be easier to understand. The tutorial has been rewritten to focus on the actual things you need to watch and click: Cash, Due, Recommended Strategy, and Components.
The goal is to make the opening less confusing without removing the pressure.
I also adjusted the difficulty curve. The early game is still meant to be readable, but once the systems start to make sense, the mid and late game should push back harder. Strong cash flow can now attract more pressure over time, so a stable-looking run may still start to crack if ignored.
This update is based on player feedback after launch. More clarity, balance, and onboarding improvements will continue as I learn where players get stuck.
If you try the new version, I would love to hear whether the opening is clearer and whether the later game feels more tense.
